About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing production Charles River IMS systems for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level remote management, administration, and support for client production Charles River IMS solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure optimal use of the system, including user administration, privileges, and parameter configuration changes.
  • Monitor and support daily operational processing, including system availability, application and database performance tuning, and Charles River IMS and database software patches.
  • Assist with problem resolution, business continuity, and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Collaborate with Charles River colleagues to smoothly transition new clients to production operations.
  • Work with vendors as partners to deliver a tightly integrated, seamless service to Charles River clients.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of services, including the investigation, implementation, and operation of 3rd party tools.
Requirements
  • Experience with financial services investment management, trading, or related systems (e.g. Charles River IMS) is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to partner with internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
  • Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration, operations, and basic administration functions is required.
  • Preferred skills include servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software, and disaster recovery/business continuity.
  • Excellent customer service, technical troubleshooting, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Science, Economics, Math, or Statistics) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' relevant industry experience is required.
