Job Summary

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks a skilled Clinical Systems Analyst to provide analysis and technical support for our Epic clinical application. This role requires a deep understanding of ambulatory and hospital clinical processes, as well as the ability to analyze user needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for the Epic clinical application
  • Analyze user needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Work with end-users, vendors, and internal technical staff to support business and clinical processes
  • Develop a clear understanding of the software and tools used to configure the record to meet the needs of the end user
  • Provide support coverage hours per day, 7 days per week, and be available for on-call coverage
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of Pharmacy or IT work experience strongly preferred
  • Prior operational responsibility for system adoption, troubleshooting, and workflow validation required
  • Epic certification required or achieved within days of hire
