Privacy Compliance Analyst II - Temporary Role

Qualifications and Skills:

The Privacy Compliance Analyst II should possess a bachelor’s degree in law, business management, health policy, communication, or a related discipline, along with 5-7 years of relevant experience in privacy, especially within a HIPAA-compliant organization, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

Required Credentials:

The Privacy Compliance Analyst II should hold at least one recognized privacy certification (e.g., CIPP-US or CHPC).

Essential Skills and Attributes:

Proven ability to comprehend and apply intricate legal terminology and language. Strong research skills to interpret and understand laws, regulations, and compliance directives. Competence in reviewing legal documents related to personal representation, assessing validity, and identifying specific authorities or powers granted. Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities. Comprehensive knowledge of privacy laws and regulations governing personal data, particularly HIPAA and state data breach statutes.

Responsibilities at Cambia:

Address basic privacy-related inquiries and provide guidance to various departments. Investigate privacy incidents and document findings in the incident tracking system to ensure compliance with HIPAA and state data breach regulations. Suggest corrective measures and communicate recommendations to supervisors and management. Process individual rights requests under HIPAA while overseeing mitigation efforts. Assist in the development and delivery of privacy-related training aimed at fostering a culture of compliance. Manage training tracking and monitoring to ensure organization-wide compliance with training requirements. Support the maintenance of databases related to privacy matters.

The current hourly compensation range for this temporary position is $55.00 to $65.00.
