Job Summary

Georgetown University seeks a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Advancement. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the Office of Advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Vice President's schedule, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, meetings, and retreats, ensuring seamless execution and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, and alumni.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information, exercising discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff to develop and implement strategic plans, initiatives, and projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a higher education or non-profit setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other productivity tools.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, with a mix of remote and on-campus work. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus at least 2 days per week.
