Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Global Health

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Assistant to provide top-notch support to the Vice President of Global Health at the United Nations Foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional front desk coverage, greeting visitors warmly and professionally, and serving as the first point of contact for guests to the VP Global Health Strategy.
  • Manage complex schedules and travel arrangements for the Vice President and Global Health Team.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and conference room bookings, ensuring seamless execution and timely communication.
  • Process incoming mail and parcels, and maintain accurate records of Global Health Team correspondence.
  • Support the Global Health Team with office budget management, including processing invoices and grant documentation.
  • Provide research assistance and draft correspondence, such as emails and letters, for the Vice President Global Health Strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Global Health Team to plan and execute events, including setup, breakdown, and catering.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least two years of administrative or executive support experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities, take initiative, and work under pressure.
