Job Overview

Total Environmental Concepts, Inc. (TEC) is a leading provider of petroleum services and construction solutions, serving clients across multiple states. We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at petroleum fueling facilities and electric vehicle charging stations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical installations are executed safely and professionally, while also managing the upkeep of existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical distribution systems and electric vehicle charging stations, utilizing diagnostic tools to verify compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints and create rough sketches as necessary.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of systems, providing support during emergency situations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all TEC personnel.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Document fieldwork thoroughly by submitting daily reports, time sheets, and photographic evidence of work completed in our cloud-based record system.
  • Supervise technicians assigned to projects, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and in a coordinated manner.
  • Identify wiring colors accurately by sight.
  • Evaluate the costs and benefits of potential actions to determine the most suitable course of action.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Master Electrician license in MD, VA, and DC.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of safety, testing, and acceptance procedures (ANSI, BICSI, TIA, NETA, NFPA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Strong organizational abilities; detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow up on outstanding issues, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with others.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites and perform standard physical duties associated with construction work.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience as an electrician.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Master Electrician.
