Position Title: Electrical Engineer II

Location: Wilmington, NC

Contract Duration: 9 Months

Role Summary:
This position primarily involves hands-on support for the installation and troubleshooting of new or modified production equipment. The role may require occasional travel to other facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical installation support for production equipment.
  • Oversee and guide contract technicians and maintenance teams throughout the installation and conversion processes.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and process start-up for Electrical and Controls Systems.
  • Revise existing documentation to ensure comprehensive drawing packages and installation checklists.
  • Adjust machine control programs for various equipment types, including robotics and automated systems.
  • Evaluate existing equipment for compatibility with new installation plans.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on aptitude with electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with motion control systems and process variables.
  • Knowledge of serial communication protocols.

Work Environment:
The majority of time will be spent on the production floor, actively engaging with equipment and installation activities.
