Type: Contract

Position: Electrical Engineer II

Location: Primarily remote with potential travel requirements.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support for the installation of new or modified production systems.
  • Oversee and guide contract engineering technicians and maintenance teams during all phases of equipment installation, including demolition, construction, and testing.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and startup processes for electrical and control systems.
  • Update and refine documentation, including drawing packages and installation checklists.
  • Modify control programs for various process equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Evaluate existing equipment for compatibility with new installation plans.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and directing teams for equipment maintenance and modifications.
  • Experience in managing procurement and expediting materials for projects.
  • Ability to create and manage electrical installation schedules and checklists.
  • Strong understanding of machine controls and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of motion control systems and process variables.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD, and PLC systems.
  • Experience with electronic testing equipment and installation tools.
