Senior WIC Nutrition Specialist

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food and Nutrition, accompanied by two (2) years of relevant experience in Nutrition or Dietetics.
Licenses or Certifications:
- Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
- Completion of all mandatory WIC training modules during the probationary period.
Position Overview:
The Senior WIC Nutrition Specialist will oversee and coordinate daily operations within the WIC clinic. This role encompasses acting as a communication bridge between the clinic and program management, including reporting on staffing, supplies, and equipment necessities.
Responsibilities include managing incident reporting, addressing customer service challenges on-site, and assisting leadership in implementing internal processes and modifications. The specialist will evaluate clients' financial and nutritional requirements to ascertain their eligibility for the WIC program.
Immunization Requirement:
Due to the nature of the work environment, compliance with the immunization policy is mandatory.
Driving Requirement:
A valid Texas Class C Driver's License is required, or the ability to obtain one by the start date. New hires must meet the Driver Record Evaluation criteria.
Travel:
Selected candidates may be required to travel to various locations as part of their regular duties, contingent upon meeting the Driver Safety Standards.

Assessments:
