The Nutrition Specialist delivers exceptional service to guests through educational presentations and personalized consultations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate nutrition workshops

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential functions outlined. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with coursework recognized by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program in a healthcare or foodservice setting, typically lasting six to twelve months.
  • Successful completion of a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Ongoing professional education to maintain registration.
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas such as renal nutrition, sports dietetics, or diabetes education are advantageous.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and interpret essential documents, including safety guidelines and operational manuals.

  • Clear and effective communication is crucial for guest satisfaction, emphasizing the importance of articulate expression.
  • Public speaking and teaching are significant components of this role, necessitating a high level of proficiency.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply common sense to execute instructions provided in various formats. Candidates should be adept at addressing problems with multiple variables in standardized scenarios.
