JOB DESCRIPTION

Fiber Glass Systems, a division of NOV, is seeking a dedicated supervisor for our manufacturing operations.

This position is responsible for overseeing and inspiring a team of employees within a manufacturing environment, ensuring that all safety, quality, and production objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily oversight of team members, including training, performance assessments, and task execution.
  • Coordinate the setup of new projects, ensuring that all necessary resources such as Run Sheets, materials, personnel, and equipment are properly allocated.
  • Manage employee schedules, including overtime, vacations, and attendance tracking.
  • Review and authorize employee labor hour reports.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Address any issues that arise and collaborate with all levels of the organization to meet production goals.
  • Support Quality Control personnel in identifying and resolving quality concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees; collaborate with the HSE Manager on safety improvements and report incidents promptly.
  • Adhere to all relevant company and corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for manufacturing tasks and computer use.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
