Program Planning and Control Specialist

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Program Planning and Control Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our spaceflight systems. Your expertise in integrated master scheduling, resource loading, and program planning will help us achieve our vision of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain program plans for various spaceflight systems
  • Partner with Blue's Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams to support the development and maintenance of Program Schedules
  • Analyze resource requirements and support the resource loading of our schedules
  • Lead reviews to gather status updates from stakeholders and maintain schedule health
  • Conduct 'what-if' scenario planning for schedule optimization opportunities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or Engineering
  • Experience with integrated master schedules with resource loading using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software
  • Experience with JIRA and Agile Project Management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling/planning and controls
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience establishing new program schedules
  • Experience in aerospace research and development and manufacturing environments
  • IPMR Customer Deliverables on EVM-required contracts
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting
