About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. We're seeking a highly skilled Program Planning and Controls Specialist to join our In-Space Systems business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute project schedule and cost management for our In-Space Systems programs.
  • Partner with Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support the creation of integrated schedule and cost baselines.
  • Establish and maintain a fully networked and resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Drive execution to these plans by coordinating status updates, collecting and inputting schedule performance, and performing regular schedule forecast updates.
  • Provide actionable schedule reporting and analysis of KPIs to inform IPT leaders and influence future schedule updates.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in program scheduling, preferably in the aerospace industry and/or R&D programs.
  • Broad/deep scheduling and planning skillset, with proficiency in resource-loaded schedules using Primavera (P6), MS Project, or other software.
  • Control account management experience, including schedule baselining, reforecasting, variance analysis, and schedule-change management.
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain a fully networked and resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule from scratch.
