Program Planning Specialist

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Program Planning Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our spaceflight programs. Your expertise in cost and schedule management will help us deliver safe and efficient spaceflight systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated cost and schedule baselines for spaceflight programs
- Collaborate with program managers and integrated product teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Analyze and report on program performance, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making
- Implement effective change management processes to ensure scope changes are properly managed
- Support the development of company-wide process improvements to drive operational maturity
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in program finance, business analytics, or program scheduling
- Proficiency in resource-loaded scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Experience with control account management, budget baselining, and reforecasting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to stakeholders
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience establishing new programs and implementing company-wide process improvements
- Proven record of hands-on development and implementation of process improvements
- IPMR Customer Deliverables on EVM-required contracts
- P6, Deltek, COBRA, Empower, or other cost/schedule integration and analysis tool experience
