About the Role

Bach to Rock is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our music school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet clients and prospective clients in a polite and courteous manner, respond to internal and external inquiries, and provide general administrative support to the Bach to Rock management team.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with maintaining the school schedule, enter registration and payment information into the B2R contact manager software, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Recruitment and Registration: Assist B2R management in the active recruitment and registration of new students, which may include leading facility tours and providing customer service calls to aid in client retention.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Skills: Ability to interact effectively with the public, ability to interact with children, ability to operate basic office equipment, ability to be physically present at the facility during its hours of operation, rudimentary knowledge of music and music education, effective time management and organizational skills, ability to work effectively with B2R staff and management, and adaptable to changes in the workplace.
  • Language Skills: Must be proficient in English speaking and writing skills, with additional language(s) a plus.
Work Environment

The work environment is a basic office environment with a music studio. The successful candidate will be able to sit, stand, walk, travel up and down stairs, crouch, stoop, and reach. They will also be able to lift and move equipment typically associated with B2R's day-to-day operation.
