Position Overview:

As the Salesforce Engineering Manager with a focus on Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud, you will be responsible for steering the technical vision and execution of Salesforce solutions that support various teams within our organization, including sales and marketing. Your responsibilities will include project oversight, system integration, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as both a strategic technical leader and an empathetic manager.
  • Work collaboratively with both business and technical teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, helping them identify their progress, knowledge gaps, and personal growth motivators.
  • Facilitate processes and systems that empower employees to make independent decisions and proactively eliminate obstacles.
  • Collaborate with your team to accurately evaluate the scope and complexity of new projects to set realistic expectations.
  • Balance daily administrative tasks with strategic architectural and development initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to create a Salesforce roadmap that aligns with our strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing direct reports, with a strong commitment to coaching and developing a diverse engineering team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and project management capabilities, including the ability to estimate project scope and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Salesforce Architecture, encompassing both Administration and Development.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading Admin and Development projects within the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly with Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
  • Proven track record in contract negotiations and managing vendor relationships.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Development, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud are advantageous or equivalent experience.
