Key Responsibilities:

Design and Engineering:

Lead the design, engineering, implementation, and configuration of platform services to bolster overall enterprise patterns and reinforce best practices.


Develop standardized patterns for common platform requirements (e.g., logging, monitoring, alerting, backup, encryption, tooling) across all layers of the platform and its supporting services.

Deliver clear APIs and abstractions that provide flexibility for application developers in utilizing the platform.

Collaboration and Security:

Collaborate with business and technology partners to identify, define, interpret, and clarify the scope of Salesforce platform integrations.

Partner with Information Security representatives to devise, implement, and/or execute security configurations and controls.

Support and refine the utilization strategy for the platform while enhancing its overall architecture, security, performance, and financial aspects.

Contribute to platform, product, and architectural roadmaps.

Platform Administration:

Engage in the development of common Salesforce platform components, capabilities, and features.

Conduct advanced configuration tasks, including custom objects and fields, dashboards, reports, workflows, rules, automations, and triggers.

Experience with Salesforce screen flow and login flow.

Create integrations and/or connectors between various applications and other third-party solutions.

Manage core security model configurations in alignment with information security guidelines.

Operational Excellence:

Provide Tier 3 support for core platform services and configuration defect resolution.

Evaluate new Salesforce releases and assess their impact.

Develop and maintain automation for deployments to minimize manual processes and enhance efficiencies across systems and data centers.

Lead solution design discussions, develop work effort estimates for implementation, and present solutions.


Draft and maintain solution documentation for platform components, integrations, and common use patterns to meet all architectural, security, and operational requirements as defined by the larger organization.

Provide training, coaching, and support for issues related to the Salesforce platform to experienced and product teams.

Your Background:

Experience in CRM, Customer Support, Sales, and Marketing domains.

Familiarity with the overall Salesforce platform and working knowledge of Salesforce integration methodologies.

Experience delivering Salesforce solutions from design to production.

Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party solutions.

Experience engineering solutions across diverse data centers, cloud, and SaaS environments.

Proficiency in standard development practices.

Experience with change management systems and processes.

Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem-solving.

Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell or shell scripting).

Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

Platform certification is advantageous.

Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of direct work-related experience.
