Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting

Essential Knowledge:


Familiarity with pertinent financial and business management terminology, metrics, key performance indicators, and the elements that contribute to shareholder value; Financial Statement & Analysis - Understanding the interrelation between Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements, EBITDA, Contribution Profit, and their mutual impacts; Accounting, Planning & Forecasting - Knowledge of GAAP, variance analysis between forecast and plan, accounting controls, overheads, managerial & statutory accounting, and common complexities in finance (such as currency issues, lease accounting, SG&A vs. COGS, working capital, GMV vs. Sales); Awareness of industry-specific trends and best practices in finance.
Oversee all month-end closing processes and activities. Reconcile intricate accounts that involve inconsistent data from disparate systems. Prepare fundamental financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards. Utilize knowledge of advanced financial accounting standards (e.g., leases, pensions, deferred taxes). Assess the implications of changes in reporting standards or accounting methods on financial statements.
Managing Functional Partnerships

Essential Knowledge:


Stakeholder identification and mapping; Stakeholder analysis; Stakeholder communication; Stakeholder engagement techniques; Tools and methods for effective stakeholder management; Proficiency in specialized business terminology.

Understand the interests and profiles of key stakeholders. Analyze stakeholder requirements and collaborate with them to disseminate relevant information. Engage with business partners (both internal and external) regularly to establish credibility. Cultivate a climate of trust and respect; respond promptly and effectively to requests.
Continuous Improvement

Essential Knowledge:
Process and automation improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.; Business Processes; Technology and Tools.
Define critical workflows for executing key processes. Identify process issues that hinder performance and concentrate on the most significant problems to maximize efficiency gains.

Measure standardized operations; identify inefficiencies caused by systems, tools, processes, and collaborate with partners to standardize operations and activities.

Generate innovative ideas to meet requirements and enhance productivity. Implement methods for improving and establishing controls for critical processes.
Operational Excellence

Essential Knowledge:
Organizational Processes; Operating Requirements; Root Cause Analysis techniques; Department Workflows; Standard Operating Procedures and service standards.
Assess situations based on awareness of the cases and operational issues related to them. Explain operational functions and key roles within the department or unit. Identify root causes for cases using SOP information.

Work to resolve cases within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring accountability for all metrics related to volume, quality, accuracy, turnaround, and customer satisfaction.

Risk Management

Essential Knowledge:
Internal risks associated with financial and accounting material misstatements; Internal financial control risks and their challenges.
Utilize appropriate risk resources, policies, and regulations in business matters to ensure adherence to risk management protocols; implement strategies.

Ensure risks are efficiently managed through proper documentation, collaboration with stakeholders, adherence to data integrity standards, evaluation of risk assessment models, and monitoring changes in the risk environment.

Governance & Control

Essential Knowledge:
SOX controls framework, CIS documents, and certification processes; FMEA analysis, review, and periodic updates. Internal financial controls framework; Various risks and their respective assessment frameworks.
Participate in project teams tasked with evaluating existing internal controls. Review data collected from various business units regarding controls and governance guidelines. Identify and highlight deviations from established processes and guidelines.
Service Excellence

Essential Knowledge:
Relevant Knowledge Articles; Service processes and procedures; Stakeholder Management.
Develop a plan to achieve service outcomes. Monitor and report on the delivery of commitments. Ensure proper identification of stakeholder needs and priorities. Resolve complex issues and respond to unexpected stakeholder requests with urgency and positive action.
Data Management

Essential Knowledge:
Understanding user data consumption, data needs, and business implications; Master data, data hierarchies, and connections to transactional data.
Implement data management solutions and oversee the metadata environment. Lead changes and revisions to data, data sources, and data hierarchies within established guidelines.
Finance & Accounting

Essential Knowledge:


Relevant financial and business management terminology, metrics, key performance indicators, and drivers of shareholder value; Financial Statement & Analysis; Accounting, Planning & Forecasting; Principles of Investments; Cost management techniques; Industry-specific trends and best practices in finance.

Break down key business processes, allocate costs and income, and identify performance issues. Apply various costing methods such as standard, marginal, and absorption methods, explaining their respective advantages and disadvantages.
Financial Acumen

Essential Knowledge:
Relevant financial and business management terminology, metrics, key performance indicators, and drivers of shareholder value.
Identify and define the financial metrics that influence outcomes. Conduct basic analyses to draw appropriate conclusions. Effectively communicate analyses and results.

Minimum Qualifications:

Option 1:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or a related field and 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, information technology, business, or a related area.

Option 2: 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field.
