Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Overseeing the performance, training, and development of the accounting team.

- Protecting assets and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all transactions by developing and enforcing compliance with internal control processes.

- Managing the accuracy and efficiency of daily operations in accounts payable, cash management, general accounting, and cost accounting.

- Preparing, enhancing, and issuing timely and precise monthly financial statements, including managing the closing process, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis.

- Developing and ensuring adherence to all internal control processes.
- Creating and providing financial reports for management as required.
- Leading and managing the audit process with external auditors.
- Promoting the use of Sage Intacct within the accounting team.

- Fostering engagement with the accounting team through open communication via staff meetings, one-on-one discussions, and other methods.

- Implementing new processes to streamline and enhance business operations.
- Researching and applying new technical accounting standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution required.
- A minimum of ten years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a controller role.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong technical accounting expertise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
