About Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Services
Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Services offers a wide range of outpatient services across the state of Arkansas with service delivery models to fit the various needs of patients as young as age 5. We address a variety of emotional/behavioral health needs for children, teens and adults in a traditional clinic-based setting, but we're also able to offer support by providing options for therapy sessions in the school or home. As a part of Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health System, we bring over years of experience providing quality care to children and adolescents. At Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Services, we bring that same experience and attention when treating our adult population.
Job Summary
The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall financial administration of the facility, including general accounting, data processing, and financial reporting for the facility in accordance with all facility and corporate policies and procedures and applicable Federal and State regulations. This position ensures that the internal controls are adequate to safeguard the facility's assets and that the accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial administration of the facility, including general accounting, data processing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure that internal controls are adequate to safeguard the facility's assets.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Manage the accounting systems to generate accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Behavioral health experience is strongly preferred.
- A minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A proven record of success improving the profitability of a hospital by continually monitoring costs in all areas, especially staffing as it relates to patient volume.
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing the Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met, and net revenue is properly stated.
