Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Lead will oversee intricate, non-repetitive supervisory tasks that involve daily monitoring of departmental performance. This role will manage all maintenance personnel, ensuring that documentation is accurately distributed and completed in a timely manner.

Maintain a secure working environment while supervising essential procedures. Oversee the complete installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of the facility, equipment, and operational needs. Design or adapt specialized production machinery and maintain oversight of manufacturing processes to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency and safety.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the training of staff in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Assist team members in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and guide them in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery during repairs, modifications, or expansions.
  • Communicate company policies to team members and enforce safety standards.
  • Propose improvements in working conditions and equipment usage to enhance the efficiency of the shop, department, and maintenance teams.
  • Initiate plans to motivate team members towards achieving organizational objectives.
  • Conduct specialized training programs for department personnel on specific machinery.
  • Analyze and resolve repair and modification issues, assisting team members and contractors as necessary.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for team members and external contractors, adjusting work procedures to align with project and production timelines.
  • Recommend enhancements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Collaborate with management and supervisors to synchronize departmental activities related to maintenance and construction projects.
  • Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.

Additional Duties:
  • Coordinate personnel and project teams, including external contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education & Experience:

Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of work experience, including 3 years in the Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical sectors, along with a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
