Banking Customer Service Associate

The State Bank is looking for a dedicated part-time Float Customer Service Representative/Teller to enhance our customer experience by efficiently handling teller transactions while safeguarding our clients' finances. This role requires flexibility as you will be serving various locations within our South Central region.
Work Schedule
The typical work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

Your Role as a Customer Service Representative/Teller
In this position, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service while processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Enhance customer relationships by promoting and cross-selling banking products and services.
- Assist customers in various formats, including in-person, online, and via phone.
- Handle routine banking tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
Your proactive approach will help you identify opportunities to assist customers with their financial needs, and you will have the chance to become certified in your role, leading to potential pay increases.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with business equipment
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- A willingness to assist at different branch locations as required
Prior experience in banking or cash handling is advantageous. Strong customer service skills, effective communication, and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role.
