Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, the Electronic Services Administrator is responsible for the daily management of Electronic Services and ACH operations, including handling disputes. This role also supports the Deposit Operations Manager in executing daily deposit functions and operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and enhance the bank's portfolio of business Electronic Services, including Cash Management, Remote Deposit Capture, One Day ACH, and Customer Payment Portal (CPP).
  • Prepare new contracts and amendments for Electronic Services.
  • Facilitate quarterly sales meetings focused on Electronic Services.
  • Set up new Electronic Services for clients and provide assistance to existing customers.
  • Ensure adherence to ACH guidelines and maintain current knowledge of ACH regulations.
  • Oversee annual third-party ACH audits, including preparation and resolution of any noted exceptions.
  • Conduct regular training and coaching sessions for staff on Electronic Services.
  • Implement and manage policies related to Electronic Services and ACH.
  • Handle debit card and fraud disputes effectively.
  • Reconcile internal clearing accounts and review daily balancing reports.
  • Process wire transfers and maintain Customer Information File.
  • Import and index documents into the bank's document management system.
  • Manage Fresh Start processes, unpostables, chargebacks, overdrafts, and correspondent bank account adjustments.
  • Set up new Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) users and address RDA warnings and expectations.
  • Assist with customer service inquiries overflow from the Contact Center.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the COO.
  • Adhere to all banking regulations, including BSA and OFAC compliance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily desk-based work, with travel required for customer visits related to Electronic Services.
  • No specific hazards associated with the role.
  • Minimal physical exertion required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • AAP Certification is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills are essential.
  • Detail-oriented with strong listening abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and computer skills, including proficiency with standard office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Professional demeanor is required for customer interactions.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years in retail banking and at least 2 years of ACH experience.
  • Familiarity with Jack Henry 20/20 software suite is preferred.
