Client Service Specialist Position

Nelnet Business Services (NBS) provides payment technology, education services, and learning management solutions to education and faith-based organizations.

We are seeking a Client Service Specialist to provide comprehensive support to Nelnet Payment Services (NPS) merchants and partners.

This role involves serving as a key contact for merchant inquiries, providing training, reconciliation assistance, troubleshooting, and more.

The specialist will also be responsible for reviewing and verifying merchant processing agreements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review merchant applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Configure new merchant accounts with multiple backend systems
  • Log and update Salesforce records with accurate account data
  • Provide phone support for NPS merchants and customers

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in customer service or new client implementation
  • Credit card banking industry experience preferred

  • Detail-oriented with creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a team player and establish good rapport with co-workers
  • Excellent customer service skills
