We're seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Brilla Public Charter Schools. As a key member of our operations team, you'll support the Director of Operations in managing day-to-day logistics and implementing systems for inventory, records management, accountability, procurement, and key school logistics.

Our network of K-8th grade schools serves approximately 1,800 students in the Bronx and is expanding to educate over 4,000 students in the Bronx and Paterson, NJ. We combine a Classical approach to education with individualized instructional support, and our community honors the dignity of each student, staff members, and families we serve.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Director of Operations in managing day-to-day logistics and implementing systems for inventory, records management, accountability, procurement, and key school logistics
  • Assisting in site-level purchasing of supplies, materials, equipment, and playing a key role in procurement and inventory management
  • Supporting the implementation of transportation, food services, facilities maintenance, security, and other third-party vendor contracts
  • Managing the front office, providing initial support to family and staff inquiries
  • Working with school personnel to maintain integrity and accuracy of student records, including the maintenance of student information systems (ATS, Powerschool, Schoolmint)
  • Playing a key role in the enrollment process and assisting in meeting network enrollment targets
  • Ensuring key compliance requirements are met in collaboration with the Director of Operations, including coordination of school surveys and completion of city/state reports
  • Managing and coordinating the facilities team to ensure cleanliness of the school facility and surrounding areas, including computer inventory, ticket monitoring, and basic troubleshooting

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in an office environment and Spanish proficiency due to our current student demographics.

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $92,500 per year, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
