Job Summary

Flagstar Bank, N.A. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Middle Market team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the Healthcare industry nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop close relationships with clients and cross-sell various bank capabilities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through current commercial clients, referral leads, and other sources.
  • Provide efficient and team-oriented service to clients, including timely processing of operations such as opening new accounts and funding loans.
  • Manage and lead ongoing portfolio/asset management for assigned credits to ensure compliance in all areas, including financial reporting, covenant compliance, timely payments, and constant communication with clients and within the bank.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management team and credit partners to develop asset management strategies.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to the private client group, evaluating client needs and offering appropriate financial products and services.
  • Ensure the group's adherence to all bank policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with established internal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, required.
  • 10+ years of experience, required.
  • Proven ability to network and prospect new clients, establishing strong relationships.
  • Experience handling complex transactions and relationships.
  • Ability to work with less experienced team members, mentoring and developing them.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and comment on financial statements.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
