We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships to enhance our position in the healthcare logistics market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze market trends and emerging innovations within the healthcare and supply chain industries to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to maximize program value and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic fit, technical feasibility, and organizational alignment for new service, channel, and/or carrier expansion opportunities.
  • Identify and cultivate innovative supply chain management solutions for the healthcare market.
  • Build and maintain relationships across Cardinal Health to identify mutually beneficial synergy opportunities.
  • Negotiate complex commercial business relationships on behalf of the company.
  • Develop business case recommendations to gain executive support and secure required investments.
  • Collaborate with enterprise Strategy and Corporate Development teams to define merger, acquisition, and/or strategic alliance strategies consistent with defined business objectives.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of related work experience in healthcare, consulting, strategy, business development, R&D, and/or supply chain, logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing market research as well as using voice of customer, benchmarking, and market insights to develop commercial strategies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Results driven, proven ability to perform and to take initiative without direct oversight and to work independently in a fast paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.

  • Competitive salary range: $114,700 - $185,000.
