About the Role:

Hopewell In-Home Senior Care is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team in Tallahassee. The successful candidate will work closely with the scheduling team to manage client shifts and provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and staff client shifts by communicating with clients and caregivers to ensure coverage is provided when needed
  • Utilize scheduling software to maintain accurate data and documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to clients, caregivers, and office staff
  • Assist with the hiring process by interviewing applicants, collecting necessary documentation, and conducting new employee orientations
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure client satisfaction and smooth workflow

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 – 4 years of administrative office experience
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and ability to learn scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication skills and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, communications, or related field
  • Previous medical or health care experience

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $40,000 - $43,000 per year
  • 401(k) matching available after 60-day probationary period
  • Health insurance available after 60-day probationary period
  • Paid time off
