Position Overview:

A prestigious global law firm, recognized as a leader in the industry, is in search of a Financial Analysis Lead (FIC) to join their Financial Analysis team. This pivotal role involves delivering insights into the financial performance and economic stability of clients, matters, and legal teams. The successful candidate will develop and sustain intricate analytical models that utilize the firm's data to provide valuable insights and address specific inquiries from business partners, guiding them towards favorable financial outcomes.

Location:

This position is based in the Global Services Office located in a major metropolitan area.

Flexible Work Arrangement:

The role may offer a flexible working schedule, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing project management methodologies to oversee firmwide financial initiatives and fulfill complex financial requests from department leadership.
  • Applying principles of business, economics, finance, and accounting to the firm's internal financial data, assisting leaders in simplifying and resolving intricate challenges; leveraging tools such as SAP Business Objects for data querying and Excel for data synthesis.
  • Ensuring timely and professional handling of communications received through the team's shared email, prioritizing urgent requests, and facilitating effective transitions with team members across different time zones.
  • Creating standardized tools for data reporting and analysis.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records that document procedures, assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information utilized during all analytical tasks.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of analytical experience in finance or accounting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to work independently in researching, analyzing, and developing financial information.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
