Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President - Entertainment Finance is a pivotal role within MUFG Bank, Ltd., focusing on the management and oversight of credit risk in the entertainment sector. This position is designed for an accomplished finance professional who will contribute to the strategic direction of our Portfolio Management Group.

Key Responsibilities:
As a leader in the Entertainment Finance Group, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of credit risk factors associated with various entertainment industry clients.
  • Manage a designated portfolio, ensuring active credit management and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Perform detailed due diligence and regular reviews to analyze creditworthiness and recommend appropriate ratings.
  • Communicate critical account information effectively across various internal teams and stakeholders.

Client Interaction:
Maintain direct communication with assigned clients, identifying potential transactions and advising on credit risk issues to enhance deal structuring.

Policy Adherence:
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, participating in examinations and contributing to the enhancement of the credit risk framework.

Team Development:
Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and support in the credit risk management process to foster their professional growth.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; a CFA or MBA is advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of experience in corporate lending, particularly within the entertainment finance sector.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of standard banking products.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior credit officers and clients effectively.

Compensation:
The compensation for this role typically ranges from $170,000 to $190,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package is available, including health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and paid leave.
