Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to become an integral part of our Finance & Accounting division in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee collaborative initiatives involving Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, and Product teams.
  • Provide critical insights that influence product development and business strategies.
  • Work closely with business units to formulate strategies, enhance forecasting and reporting, and deliver impactful insights to leadership.
  • Mentor and guide a team of analysts to support Snap's rapid domestic and international growth.
  • Collaborate with business teams to improve reporting, manage expenditures, and develop key business metrics.
  • Construct financial models aimed at optimizing investment opportunities.
  • Streamline FP&A processes to minimize risks and uncover value within the organization.
  • Create analytical tools to monitor business performance and understand key operational drivers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Background in technology or digital media sectors.
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior executives on financial planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Advanced financial modeling expertise, including experience with financial planning software (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan).
  • Strong grasp of GAAP accounting principles, facilitating a deep understanding of income statement intricacies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to foster cross-functional relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing a team of dedicated professionals, with a focus on individual career growth.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company with a focus on corporate FP&A is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets; SQL knowledge is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a managerial role leading a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
