Finance Senior Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to become an integral part of our Finance & Accounting division in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee collaborative initiatives involving Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, and Product teams.
- Provide critical insights that influence product development and business strategies.
- Work closely with business units to formulate strategies, enhance forecasting and reporting, and deliver impactful insights to leadership.
- Mentor and guide a team of analysts to support Snap's rapid domestic and international growth.
- Collaborate with business teams to improve reporting, manage expenditures, and develop key business metrics.
- Construct financial models aimed at optimizing investment opportunities.
- Streamline FP&A processes to minimize risks and uncover value within the organization.
- Create analytical tools to monitor business performance and understand key operational drivers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Background in technology or digital media sectors.
- Proven experience collaborating with senior executives on financial planning and forecasting.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Advanced financial modeling expertise, including experience with financial planning software (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan).
- Strong grasp of GAAP accounting principles, facilitating a deep understanding of income statement intricacies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to foster cross-functional relationships.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing a team of dedicated professionals, with a focus on individual career growth.
- Experience in a publicly traded company with a focus on corporate FP&A is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets; SQL knowledge is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years in a managerial role leading a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
