We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Accounting and Finance to join our dynamic team at Consultative Search Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our financial success and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Fund Accounting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to clients, analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships/accounts, and coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators.
- Corporate Finance: Analyze drivers of historical financial performance, understand the components, drivers, and evolution of firm's expenses, and forecast them accordingly. Support Corporate Financing activities, including budgeting and preparation of materials for external parties.
- Corporate Accounting: Prepare financial calculations and account analyses, including supporting schedules on a monthly and quarterly basis, collaborate with internal and external auditors in annual audits and quarterly reviews, and perform certain key internal control processes.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in various projects as requested by management.
- Minimum 7 to 9 years of relevant accounting or audit experience within public accounting or a mix of public accounting and investment management industry experience.
- Understanding of Fund Accounting and Operations business processes, and ability to initiate and lead process improvements and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting, operations, reconciliations, account analysis, and management reporting.
- Experience in project management, financial management, and change management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (and/or equivalent experience). CPA or MBA a plus.
