The ideal candidate will collaborate extensively with BCA Airplane Programs, BCA Engineering Functions, Supply Chain, BR&T, CAS, Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), BCA Product Development, BCA Business Strategy, & Environment, Enterprise EHS, and Boeing International Policy.


Key Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessments and project planning; Lead and integrate project teams to formulate strategies, plans, and implementation activities.

Engage with cross-functional teams to outline plans, assign responsibilities, and oversee execution to fulfill engineering, quality, and scheduling requirements.

Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of project plans.
Communicate project plans and status updates to Boeing leadership.
Coordinate evaluations of existing materials for potential replacements or to qualify additional sources.
Analyze, assess, and resolve issues where chemicals and materials are required to support ongoing production.
Identify and articulate process enhancements for risk mitigation.
Utilize Program Management Best Practices and Boeing project management systems.

Organize and lead projects with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team members to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and address material technical obsolescence.

Experience with Boeing Specifications, BCA Bill-Of-Material (BOM), BCA change processes, Safety Data Sheets, and Supply Chain is essential, while familiarity with BCA BOM data mining is advantageous.


Additional Responsibilities:
Provide support, guidance, and direction for Enterprise chemical policy, external engagement, and supply chain strategies.
Assist BCA in regulatory and industry meetings, consortia, and workgroups related to various environmental regulations.
Support Chemical Regulation Advocacy - Respond to technical data collection requests.

Conduct research and prepare presentations, white papers, and coordination sheets for background, guidance, and planning necessary to meet environmental, sustainability, and chemical regulation requirements.

Support research, analysis, advocacy, development, and implementation for compliance with US EPA and EU REACH environmental regulations.
Offer research and analytical support for environmental inquiries related to customer airlines.
Provide research and analytical assistance to Legal Counsel.
Support data mining activities in BCA Bill-Of-Material and other data sources.

Required Qualifications:
Experience with Boeing is essential; knowledge of chemical risk management (including Safety Data Sheets) is required.
