Salary Range:
Annual Salary - USD: $68,000 - $113,300

Role Summary:

The Junior Project Engineer serves as the technical authority for a designated product or project, ensuring that the engineering documentation meets customer specifications, adheres to company standards, and complies with regulatory guidelines. This role also involves the creation of engineering deliverables in support of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and gather data to produce engineering deliverables (drawings and documents).
  • Verify that design elements align with company quality benchmarks, customer requirements, and relevant certification standards.
  • Assist in developing the engineering package content while ensuring adherence to budgetary and scheduling goals.
  • Facilitate technical communication and coordination with airline clients and their suppliers, providing support during technical discussions at client meetings.
  • Create and evaluate engineering drawings, approving them as necessary, along with engineering orders, substantiation documents, and aircraft manuals.
  • Oversee and manage aspects of engineering work packages, resolving technical challenges as they arise.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, including drafting statements of work, estimating non-recurring engineering costs, and compiling parts lists.

All employees are expected to maintain the confidentiality of company products and adapt to changing business conditions by handling essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • A four-year technical degree and a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience.
  • Alternatively, a combination of formal technical training and at least three years of relevant industry experience may be considered.
  • Aerospace engineering experience of three years or more is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of customer expectations and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Fluent communication in English is required.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be necessary.
  • Must be capable of meeting strict deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
