Annual Salary Range: $68,000 - $113,300

Role Summary:

The Junior Project Engineer is tasked with leading smaller projects under the supervision of Engineering Management and/or Project Engineering. This role serves as the technical authority for a designated product or project, ensuring that the Engineering deliverables align with customer specifications, company standards, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory mandates.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and gather data to produce Engineering deliverables (drawings and documents).
  • Ensure design outputs meet company quality benchmarks, customer requirements, and applicable certification standards.
  • Assist in the formulation of the Engineering package content while maintaining budgetary and scheduling goals.
  • Facilitate technical communication and coordination with airline clients and their suppliers, providing support during technical discussions at client meetings.
  • Create and review engineering drawings, approving documentation as required.
  • Oversee and monitor various aspects of engineering work packages.
  • Resolve technical challenges and manage project components to ensure successful completion within set timelines and budgets.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, including the development of statements of work and engineering estimates.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A four-year technical degree and at least three years of relevant industry experience.
  • Alternatively, a combination of formal technical training and three years of relevant industry experience may be accepted.
  • At least three years of aerospace engineering experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of customer expectations and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Willingness to work irregular hours as needed.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and complete tasks on time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
