Position Overview: HR Intern (Remote)

We are seeking a dedicated HR Intern to assist with various administrative functions and support the daily operations of our Human Resources department.

Role Summary

The HR Intern will be responsible for maintaining employee records, screening applications, and coordinating interviews. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin their career in Human Resources and gain insight into our company’s approach to payroll, recruitment, and employee development.

In this role, you will contribute to the organization and implementation of our HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment documentation.
  • Collect payroll information such as leave balances, working hours, and banking details.
  • Review resumes and application forms for potential candidates.
  • Coordinate and confirm interview schedules with applicants.
  • Manage job postings on various platforms, including job boards and social media.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as necessary, such as departmental training budgets.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, including remaining vacation days.
  • Distribute company policies in both digital and printed formats.
  • Assist in organizing company events and career fairs.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Staff Assistant or in a similar entry-level HR position is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and resume databases.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs.
  • Understanding of the full recruitment cycle.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Note: This is an unpaid internship that may lead to a paid position.
Work Arrangement: This position is fully remote.
