Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to join our team in Western Massachusetts and Southeastern New York. This role involves selling a range of heavy equipment, including core/compact and underground machinery, and conducting product demonstrations at customer sites.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of $65,000 per year, plus commission on sales performance. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires fieldwork and regular travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Sell and demonstrate Vermeer's range of compact equipment to customers in Western Massachusetts and Southeastern New York
  • Develop new business opportunities within the designated territory
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Travel regularly to customer sites to conduct product demonstrations and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Excellent driving record
  • Experience in sales or a related field
