Job Title: Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Summary:

Promotion In Motion is seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will assist the communications team with key aspects of social media management, including community management, content creation, and campaign execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the communications team with social media content creation, including writing and scheduling posts, creating engaging content, and monitoring social media analytics.
  • Play a hands-on role in community management, including responding to comments, engaging with followers, and shaping our voice across brand socials.
  • Develop an understanding of the day-to-day requirements of a social media marketer, including analyzing performance metrics and turning data into actionable insights.
  • Work across multiple brands within the PIM Brands portfolio, including Welch's, Sun-Maid, and Toggi.
  • Assist with giveaways, collaborations, and in-person programs, learning how to execute ideas that engage audiences while driving brand goals.

Qualifications:

  • Rising Junior in college/university, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Finger on the pulse of social media, marketing, and community engagement.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated and bias for action.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated personal and professional values.
  • Must be obsessed with staying up to date on social media and cultural trends.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Have access to housing and reliable transportation.
  • Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 3rd, 2025.
  • Must be able to work in the office Monday through Thursday; Friday is Work from Home.

  • Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry.
  • Leadership experience on or off campus.
