Job Description

At Verizon, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Connected Laptops Category Marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote Verizon Business' connected laptop category
  • Manage joint marketing budgets, campaigns, and initiatives with device manufacturers
  • Partner with Verizon marketing, branding, legal, and sales teams to ensure network and sales goals are met
  • Work closely with device manufacturers, chipset vendors, and OS/platform vendors to market solutions aligned with Verizon Business Group strategic objectives
  • Manage marketing partnerships with mobile compute device vendors to drive business device, product, and sales needs
  • Collaborate with external vendors to support joint marketing efforts, including social media, events, seminars, and sales training
  • Define key customer benefits, product use cases, and customer experience training for connected laptops in business segments, including Enterprise, Small Business, and Public Sector
  • Support Verizon and manufacturer sales partners with joint customer negotiations
  • Manage Joint Marketing Fund (JMF) spending and requests
  • Drive 5G into the product ecosystem
  • Perform analysis of launched marketing initiatives
  • Develop executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks, and launch performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Two or more years of experience in the telecommunications, sales, or marketing field
  • Experience in product marketing, including sales marketing
  • Experience translating market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the business
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience in wireless industries
  • Strong working knowledge of 5G Technology/Wireless Technologies/Mobile Compute Devices (Laptops/Tablets)
  • Ability to translate technical topics into customer-facing solutions and training
  • Juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations
  • Problem-solving and organization skills
