Job Description

At Verizon, we're looking for a skilled Project Manager for Integrated Marketing Operations to join our team. As a key member of our marketing organization, you'll be responsible for leading the intake funnel and prioritization of support requests by overseeing new projects from conception to assignment, as well as the ongoing evolution of those process capabilities.

This role manages marketing campaign intake needs, workflow management of tactics to support high-profile, large-impact marketing initiatives across all the Value Organization brands, including Visible, Tracfone, Straight Talk, and others.

You'll be the 'front door' into the marketing organization, managing the internal briefing process across launches and overseeing the end-to-end tactics for our marketing approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project managing a variety of incoming requests that require Marketing support, including Integrated Marketing, Creative Execution, Retail & Email Marketing, Marketing, and Media Planning.
  • Conducting impact assessments for each incoming request to ensure alignment with strategic business and marketing objectives, and utilizing those assessments to determine next steps.
  • Working with the Chief Revenue Organization in reviewing intake briefs and ensuring all necessary information and KPIs are captured in order to properly vet projects and kickoff with the marketing organization.
  • Managing the day-to-day process of launching brand marketing campaigns.
  • Developing marketing strategies and tactics that gain the interest of potential members, nurture high-fit prospects into members, and retain those members for the long-term.
  • Discovering and creating data-centric opportunities that allow us to make more effective and efficient decisions for the ways in which we drive acquisitions through marketing channels.
  • Developing leadership materials that clearly communicate prioritization needs and trade-offs, using a variety of tools including Google Slides and Sheets.

We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys driving marketing impact and operational efficiency through building world-class campaigns and developing scalable processes.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Integrated Marketing Communications, Go To Market, or Project Management in a Marketing or Agency setting.
  • Program Management experience, including the development of timelines & dependencies and experience with cross-functional projects.
  • A data-focused marketer with a keen eye for details and the ability to synthesize and leverage consumer, market, and performance data to develop remarkable marketing campaigns.
  • Project management certification.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of marketing communications tactics and the ability to drive tactical owners to devise marketing support plans.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to evaluate new tools for automation and drive efficiencies.
  • Previous experience with project management tools and software such as Asana or Adobe Workfront.
  • The ability to articulate needs to stakeholders and relay pertinent information to management under tight deadlines.
  • The ability to identify when certain situations need to be escalated and manage escalated situations.
  • Experience standing up new project management systems & software.
  • Understanding of campaign methodologies and a successful track record of measuring and delivering on performance targets.
  • Excellent presentation-building skills.
