About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Solutions Coordinator to join our team at United Benefit Advisors. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our vendor partners and improving their value to our partner firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Committee Support: Assist with the facilitation and support of our Carrier Alliance and Self-Funding committees, including scheduling calls, recording and disseminating meeting minutes, and tracking projects.
  • Agreement Management: Ensure that agreements and engagement letters are signed annually and tracked in our systems.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist with the collection and maintenance of financial reporting from Carrier Alliances.
  • Client Support: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for our partner firms on Carrier Alliance services and offerings related to employee benefits.
  • Survey Development: Develop and implement surveys to gather feedback from our partner firms and alliances, including testing functionality and analyzing data.
  • Event Coordination: Support the Director of Strategic Solutions in coordinating speakers, content, and logistics for Alliance and self-funding sessions at our conferences and webinars.
  • Sponsorship Coordination: Assist in the coordination and tracking of sponsorships for our conferences and educational programs.
  • Revenue Growth: Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Relationship Building: Support the Director of Strategic Solutions in building enduring relationships with our alliances and positioning UBA as a significant contributor to their success.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Manage ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in the employee benefits industry, preferably at a brokerage firm or insurance carrier.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate level proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Planner, and Teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Client Service: B2B client service/account management experience a plus.
  • Adaptability: Must be self-motivated, work well independently, and possess a high desire to learn, grow, and add value.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to conferences 1-2 times per year, which may include evening and weekend work.
