Position Overview
The Transformation Strategy Analyst will play a crucial role within the Strategy and Transformation Management Office (STMO), facilitating the organization in shaping and executing Komatsu North America's strategic objectives.
This position involves supporting the strategic planning processes for the North America region, delivering data-driven insights to identify necessary actions and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical mindset, outstanding communication abilities, and a proven track record of collaboration across various teams to drive effective change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment
Assist in formulating and executing transformation strategies, long-term strategic roadmaps, and action plans to meet organizational goals. - Strategic Planning Support
Contribute to the strategic planning process and offer insights to align initiatives with organizational strategies based on data analysis. - Market Analysis
Conduct industry market scans to identify trends, benchmarks, and market conditions that will inform future strategies. - Stakeholder Coordination
Support the Portfolio Manager in executing the strategic blueprint process by coordinating with stakeholders to gather input and prepare materials for workshops and key meetings. - Reporting and Communication
Assist in collecting and analyzing data for Project Health reports to highlight trends and areas needing attention, supporting resolution ownership. - Performance Measurement
Help identify key performance indicators that align with organizational strategies and assess the effectiveness of programs. - Continuous Improvement
Analyze organizational pain points and propose solutions to enhance performance across business functions. - Change Management Support
Assist in stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, and risk assessments to ensure successful program adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required. Proven analytical skills in corporate or consulting environments are essential. The candidate should demonstrate flexibility and maturity in interactions with executives and colleagues at all levels. Proactive identification of efficiency opportunities and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management are crucial. Proficiency in data visualization, analysis, modeling, and business presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
