Aon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Risk Solutions Leader to join our Alternative Risk Transfer Team in the US. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Aon colleagues to deliver innovative alternative risk solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the execution of Alternative Risk Transfer strategic initiatives, including marketing, execution, and ongoing client service related to ART transactions.
- Collaborate with Commercial Risk clients and Aon colleagues to develop new value-generating ideas and alternatives to traditional risk transfer approaches.
- Work with account executives and brokers to uncover unique challenges that warrant consideration of alternative risk transfer solutions.
- Develop strategies to incubate and bring Alternative Risk Transfer solutions to clients.
- Assist in the execution of Commercial Risk priorities, including strategic solutions and innovation, thought leadership, and the adoption of risk analytics and related tools.
- Lead the development of purposeful solutions and the coordination of strategic risk consulting recommendations.
- Contribute to large RFP project responses and own an innovation agenda.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of broking, account management, insurance experience, or other transferable experience.
- Interest in alternative risk transfer solutions, such as parametric insurance, multi-year structured programs, and captive aggregate stop loss solutions.
- Proven thought leadership and comfort with developing technology tools to assist ART team workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide insight and recommendations via creative solutions to sophisticated problems.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to challenge status quo ideas.
- Ability to work in a sophisticated matrix environment across various functional, business, and geographic leaders while motivating and inspiring others.
