We assist our clients in assessing their risks and crafting solutions that are customized to their unique requirements. We empower our employees to grow, learn, and contribute meaningfully. Our organizational structure allows our teams to cultivate their distinct regional cultures while benefiting from the support and resources of our corporate centers of excellence.

With over $5 billion in revenue and a workforce exceeding 17,000 across 600 offices in North America, HUB has experienced significant growth, partly due to our industry-leading success in mergers and acquisitions.

Position Overview – Enterprise Solutions Specialist

HUB International is rapidly advancing our digital and product offerings and technology solutions. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical thinker to support critical, enterprise-level programs and projects that align with our strategic objectives.

The Enterprise Solutions Specialist will be chiefly responsible for organizing and facilitating the development of all enterprise-grade projects and product solutions from inception to completion. Acting similarly to a technical program manager, you will assist high-performing teams on mission-critical, enterprise-level data and analytics initiatives. As a vital member of our development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and effective product implementation. This role is crucial in enhancing the development process across the Data and Analytics organization.

The Enterprise Solutions Specialist ensures that customer, business, and technology requirements are comprehensively understood, defined, and executed through successful process and technology solutions. In this capacity, you are expected to cultivate trusted partnerships with business and technology leaders, providing a variety of analytical capabilities that contribute to the design and delivery of technology-enabled business solutions. This includes managing demand, collaborating with business counterparts to devise solutions, and transforming ambiguous products into well-managed operations that deliver significant value for both the product owner and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of strategic, high-visibility, and complex programs to enhance HUB's data-driven solutions.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with business stakeholders, data architects, data engineers, data visualization developers, and product owners on cross-functional teams to align with HUB's strategic goals and business priorities.
  • Analyze intricate data systems, applications, and workflows to develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet minimally viable product agreements.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of HUB's business objectives to plan and implement an effective program delivery strategy.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to program team members across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various business and technology teams to ensure clarity regarding goals, scope, objectives, priorities, key results, and quality standards.
  • Manage program teams for optimal return on investment and coordinate cross-project initiatives.
  • Communicate critical information and actionable insights to key stakeholders, including executives, project teams, and vendors, at the appropriate times.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
  • Support the development of the data and analytics program management framework, including policies, standards, processes, and tools, to enhance organizational agility and capabilities across both agile and plan-driven delivery approaches.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.
  • Anticipate and understand business priorities by building productive working relationships with HUB business colleagues.
  • Assist in the development of automated processes for data mining, modeling, and enrichment.
  • Proactively communicate issues, risks, and concerns to management and engage colleagues while working in a hybrid Agile/Scrum process.
  • Provide additional analytical and organizational support to the CTO organization as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading and supporting complex strategic initiatives for data or digital technology programs and product offerings.
  • A passion for delivering value to business partners and end-users, with a customer-centric mindset that anticipates business needs and responds positively to feedback.
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering multiple simultaneous programs of varied scope, size, and end-user impacts, with the ability to identify and resolve unforeseen challenges.
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types, with a commitment to helping teammates succeed and grow.
  • Proficiency in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, problem-solving, conflict resolution, team empowerment, and transparency.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills (both verbal and written) with internal and external teams across all organizational levels, including virtual team members across multiple time zones.
  • Experience managing multiple executive and business stakeholders, with strong presentation and persuasion skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts in easily understood terms.
  • Experience in a PMO or within a software/data and analytics development team.
  • Highly organized, with significant experience in agile and plan-driven (waterfall) delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with MS Power Platform, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Miro, LucidChart, Canny, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience in business process design, business analysis, or change management is advantageous.
  • Background in insurance is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
