About the Position

The Development Department at PSE Healthy Energy is a dynamic hub for strategic relationship building, fundraising, and resource mobilization. As our new Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies in alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure funding from diverse sources, including institutional funders, foundations, major donors, and government entities.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction, annual goal setting, and budget planning for the Development team.
  • Write, design, and produce high-impact proposals while ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and coordinating with technical leads.
  • Manage proposal schedules, utilizing systems and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Research and identify funding opportunities, evaluating alignment with organizational goals to prioritize outreach efforts.
  • Cultivate relationships with mid-level and major gift donors to secure recurring funding.
  • Organize fundraising events and campaigns to engage donors and raise funds.
  • Maintain donor records, process gifts, and ensure timely acknowledgments using the PSE's donor database (Salesforce).
  • Prepare detailed grant reports that meet funder requirements, ensuring accuracy in financials and program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Commitment to PSE Healthy Energy's mission and values.
  • Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in nonprofit grant writing, fundraising, and development.
  • Superior strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies.
  • Proven success in securing funding from a diverse range of sources.
  • Knowledge of government compliance standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft reports and deliver effective presentations to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
