Job Description:

As an Ecommerce Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our ecommerce business. Your responsibilities will include managing customer relationships, product content, supply chain operations, pricing strategy, marketing, and merchandising.

You will partner closely with key customers to build strategic relationships that maximize Surya's shelf space and profitability. Your analytical skills, ability to influence, and exceptional communication will be essential in succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with large ecommerce accounts, including Amazon, Wayfair, and Walmart.
  • Merchandise Surya's extensive product catalog effectively, focusing on top volume drivers and new product introductions.
  • Oversee the partnership of your account(s) as a key contact and solution provider, proactively identifying issues and developing solutions.
  • Manage content, pricing, and promotional strategy for your account(s), working across multiple teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular sales and activity analysis to determine the performance of your customer portfolio and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate market trends and identify new opportunities to acquire market share.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create and improve existing processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Must work full-time at our headquarters in White, GA.
  • Background in account management, sales, product management, project management, and/or marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, working under pressure, setting and achieving goals, delegation, and attention to detail.
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical ability and experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work seamlessly across functional and organizational boundaries, with a reputation for influencing others and earning trust.
  • Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities, and relationship management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, account management, or buying.
  • Prior knowledge working with customer web-based portals.
  • Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools.
  • Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel 2-4 times a year to visit customers and/or attend markets.
