About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Partnerships Business Development Executive to join our team at Plaid. As a key member of our GTM Partnerships team, you will be responsible for unlocking "one to many" customer relationships with technology platforms to allow more end customers and consumers to benefit from Plaid's solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Execution: Own all aspects of the partner deal cycle (strategy, prospecting, discovery, alignment, negotiation, execution) with support from our cross-functional teams (product, implementation, commercial, legal)
  • Partner Growth and Upselling: Elevate our partner relationships through key milestones - from completed integration to "first customer live" to scale, and ultimately to selling additional products
  • Cross-Functional Partner: Collaborate with teams such as product and implementation to enable continued growth of our scaled partnerships program, such as by sharing product feedback and scaling needs

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales experience in a dynamic high-growth environment (quota carrying role or similar)
  • 8+ years of overall work experience
  • Proven ability to close and grow large partner relationships (>$1m++ ARR)
  • Strong communicator and internal relationship builder, who can collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., with our Product and technical teams) on complex topics
  • A strong business generalist with strategic mindset to build a holistic partner program in addition to individual partner relationships
  • Prior experience in payments and B2B technology is a strong plus

What We Offer:

  • A competitive target base salary of $143,424 - $231,144 per year
  • Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission
  • A comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
