About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Enterprise Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the enterprise market.

Your primary focus will be on developing and executing a comprehensive account plan to drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. You will work closely with our sales team, account managers, and technical teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand our existing customer base.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of the enterprise sales landscape, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan to drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts
  • Work closely with sales team, account managers, and technical teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the enterprise market
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions around AWS services to customers and prospects
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and sales goals
Requirements
  • 7+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience
  • 10+ years of selling to the enterprise
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
  • Track record of developing sustainable new business
  • Extensive customer network
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
