About the Role

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a skilled Counter Sales Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our wholesale and retail parts counter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation, including hiring, providing constructive feedback to Counter Sales Representatives, and scheduling associates to ensure efficient and quality counter operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Lead the overall operation, including hiring, providing constructive feedback to Counter Sales Representatives, and scheduling associates to ensure efficient and quality counter operations.
  • Merchandising and Organization: Supervise the merchandising, organization, and appearance of the counter to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Customer Service: Effectively and professionally resolve complaints regarding products, customer purchases, and customer service to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Pricing and Discounts: Approve volume discounts and pricing adjustments and resolve pricing discrepancies with customers to ensure accurate and fair pricing.
  • Training and Development: Train associates on product specifications, merchandising, counter organization, and sales to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • New Business Development: Develop new customers through direct advertising and promotional campaigns to increase sales and revenue.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Participate in leadership meetings and represent operational concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Continually focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior sales experience plus 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Local market knowledge is preferred.
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle numerous customers simultaneously and provide excellent customer service.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work with and analyze numbers to make informed decisions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with associates, customers, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism.
