Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing analytical support and technical expertise to the Treasury Capital Markets team. This position is essential for the organization’s success, as it involves delivering both quantitative and qualitative analyses that inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Treasury team in managing financial risks associated with corporate operations.
  • Oversee financial risk management related to commodity hedging, acting as the intermediary for reporting on commodity derivatives.
  • Prepare management reporting deliverables on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for senior leadership.
  • Conduct reporting and forecasting/budgeting functions for the Treasury Capital Markets team.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Operations and Financial Planning & Analysis teams to create a comprehensive cash flow statement model.
  • Support initiatives related to Debt and Equity Capital Markets as required.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and modeling for strategic planning, capital structure assessments, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial evaluations.
  • Conduct quarterly financial covenant analyses and establish a robust forecasting process for covenant ratios.
  • Implement share buyback programs as directed by senior management.
  • Analyze lease versus buy scenarios and provide recommendations for various financing transactions.
  • Assist the SEC reporting team with all debt/equity disclosures and financial derivatives reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; pursuit of an MBA and/or CFA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in PC software, particularly with medium to advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Technical expertise in SAP systems and Bloomberg is required.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, complex financial markets, and strong computer skills are advantageous.
